    Hello Paul,

We just wanted to follow up and say THANK YOU for letting us rent your apartment on Ave de Suede in Nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nice and at your special apartment near the Promenade.
It was very convenient for us as we enjoyed the sights of Nice and the neighboring cities along the coast.

Again, many thanks from our family to you for making our stay in Nice so wonderful at your apartment. Thank you!

    Best Regards,

    John

We had a lovely time in our apto in Nice -perfectly located to walk to everything including the train station which we used to visit nearby Cannes and Monaco. Hope to return soon.

Property was small and well-equipped but a perfect size for 2. A sofa-bed could hold 2 more. The only thing I donated was a garlic press! Lovely flat-screen TV and internet connection that Paul helped us with getting connected. Didn’t need to even bring a hair-dryer, one was there. From the balcony you can see the sea. Enjoy sitting in the AlbertI garden which is right across the street. We were there for 6 weeks in the fall and the weather was perfect. Everything we needed was within a 5 minute walk. Only suggestion we would have is that for a stay of more than 1 week we would suggest having more towels. There were only 2 bath towels. (We found a laundromat on Rue de la Buffa.) SPAR supermarket, fromagerie, patisserie, outdoor market, Presse, restaurants all virtually at your doorstep. Couldn’t have been nicer and we would definitely rent again.

Stayed for a week from 2nd - 9th Sept’06. Great little apartment perfectly located for access to shopping areas (even has a SPAR 2 mins away !!), restaurants, old quarter and the beach. Quiet location too, apartment has everything you would want, aircon superb, cracking little TV, very comfy big bed, masses of storage areas, great shower and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Paul’s instructions very clear indeed. No problem getting keys & jumping on bus from airport. Stops within 100m of apartment either on Prom. de Anglais or on the other side of the gardens. Would definitely recommend this for your stay in Nice - you won’t be disappointed !! Judging by all the other positive comments would use Paul again without hesitation.

Fabulous central location-2mins through gardens to Place Messena or Old Town and across the road to beach(Prom des Ang).Small balcony with gorgeous open views of the Albert gardens and sea, perfect to enjoy the morning sun whilst eating fresh pastries from the local shops.Apt was clean and well furnished including plenty of towels, bedding, English TV and air con.Everything was so close by including bus stops for days out visiting.Ideal location, being in the centre yet off the main road.Felt very safe. Highly recommended. Thanks to Paul for the excellent service including easy key arrangements and flexibility of times. Will most certainly use you again.

We stayed just over 6 weeks in the apartment at Ave de Suede. Great facilities for a long term stay - lots of storage space. Location was ideal - close to eveything - restaurants, shopping, park, promenade, old town. The apartment itself was well appointed and quite cozy. It really became our home away from home. Breakfast on the balcony in the early morning sunshine quickly became a tradition and we were quite disappointed on the few days we couldn’t because of rain. When we needed him, Paul was always there. He responded quickly and professionally to any of our enquiries or needs. Thank you Paul for telling us about Chez Davia - it quickly became one of our favourite restaurants. There is no question about where we will go when looking for accommodations in Nice - it will be through Paul and GO Nice.

This was my 3rd visit to Nice and by far the best location I have stayed in. The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring Nice and further a field, with a bus stop almost on the door step and the Tram 5 minutes walk away and another 5 minute rise to the main train station. I would recommend this apartment to anybody who wants to visit Nice. The beach is also only 5 minutes away. I will definitely be back

  8. Fran Dempsey says:

The apartment was very centrally located. The old town was 2 mins away, you could view the Jardin Albert from the balcony and at the end of the road you could see the beach/promenade.

Shops, supermarkets, restaurants were all in close proximity.

The apartment was great for 3 with ipod dock, Flatscreen TV {with Sky if you bring card and it has English channels} air conditioning , good bed and sofa and usual kitchen and bathroom mod- cons.

We would recommend this apartment and would use it again.

we recently stayed at Ave de Suede and found it very comfortable well maintained. The location is excellent with an easy bus trip to the airport. Excellent facilities and location making it an ideal place for a holiday in Nice

  10. Ken says:

The location was perfect! A block from the beach, a block from the pedestrian zone, and a couple of blocks from Old Nice. I loved the balcony overlooking the park, with a view of the Mediterranean. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything was in good working order. Paul was always available to help with the apartment and to answer my questions about getting around in Nice.

A terrific little apartment in a great location. The apartment is equipped with every amenity that you would require. The location is perfect for beach, flower market and pedestrian zone. It is a simple walk to Gare Routiere/Gare de Nice. The arrangement to collect keys works very well and within 40 mins of landing we were in the apartment. As I’m the complete idiot that managed to lock the keys in the apartment at 23.00 on a Saturday night, I will be forever grateful to Paul for putting himself out at that time of night to let me have the spare set that that hold. Both the company and the apartment are highly recommended.

The Ave de Suede apartment lived up to its internet discription and pictures in every aspect. Getting to the apartment was a breeze: it took about half an hour from the time we left the plane until we were in the apartment. You pick-up the keys and a welcome pack right in the airport. I’d recommend buying a week-long bus pass (the best deal going at 15 Euro) then find the 91 bus which picks you up at the airport and drops you off just a few blocks from the apartment. The bus stop going back to the airport is even closer (just across the park from the apartment)

My biggest problem the entire stay was in opening the apartment door for the first time–the high security lock requires two full turns to completely unlock the door… (must have been the jet lag!)

The kitchen was a big reason we rented this apartment. My wife likes to cook, so we ate most meals in after shopping at the MonoPrix or SPAR markets, the Mutari boulangerie on Rue de la Liberte, or the street market on Cours Saleye. But, within just a few blocks of the apartment is every type of restaurant you’d want–from a McDonalds to dozens (if not hundreds) of bistros, cafes and restaurants in every price range.

Since we stayed during the volcano ash flight shutdowns, having plenty of English news on the satellite TV was very important to keep us up to date. The wired Internet connection worked well, but we could never get wireless to work with either our computer or iPhone.

The only caveat to the apartment is that the stairs up to the bedroom loft are very steep and the shower stall is very small, so I would not recommend the apartment for anyone with limited mobility.

  13. Tod says:

We stayed in the apartment in early May and loved it!

Everything about the experience was positive and the owners were very nice and helpful during the pre-arrival correspondence.

The apartment itself was very nice and clean with a location that can’t be beat. You are literally steps from the boardwalk and the beach.

The apartment is fully equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities and has a mezzanine design with the bedroom overlooking the living space below.

If you need a taxi, we discovered it is better to go around the corner to the Meridian hotel where there is a stand rather than call for one (ours never showed up).

Second year I have stayed at this apartment and will probably be back next year. As I said last year this apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring Nice and further a field, so close to the beach and old town, with plenty of bars and restaurants close and a Spar just around the corner.

Paul would like to thank you for reassuring us over having somewhere to stay if the ash cloud affected our flight.
