One month simply wasn’t long enough. This apartment afforded such comfort and such amenities that we could have enjoyed a much longer stay. Because of the wonderful location, we had the luxury of not being dependent on a car or taxis, yet could easily get anywhere in and around the city. We quickly felt very much a part of the neighborhood. Paul, you are a first-class professional — your thoroughness and attention to detail is most impressive. We will recommend you to others, and certainly hope to return soon.

Comments regarding the property and serviceWe were absolutely delighted with the apartment and the highly professional service delivered by Paul. The apartment is extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you’ll need for an enjoyable holiday, including those all-important beach accessories! Along with a free broadband connection, there is a desk/working area which we found invaluable for staying in touch with friends and family. The building is secure and very conveniently situated for both shopping and the beach. Nice itself is a vibrant and enjoyable city, ideal as a holiday destination. We had a wonderful time, and can thoroughly recommend both Nice and Go-Nice. We are already looking forward to a return visit!

Great location - right by the beach! 15 minute walk to old Nice through the pedestrian district - right on border of pedestrian district, so cab can make it to door, but no cars on street. Great little boulangerie if you turn left at the pedestrian district and go two blocks (West).

Flat has all the modern conveniences, fans (but no AC), iron, washing machine, dishwasher, etc… 3 person elevator in building.

Rue Massenet proved to be a very good choice of apartment for us. It was ideally situated, just around the corner from Promenade des Anglais, close to shops and to Cours Saleya and the Old Town. Also easy to catch buses from there and the train station was just a 10 minute walk away. The flat itself was very well equipped and with the lovely weather we really enjoyed having the balcony, where we consumed our croissants in the mornings and rose wine later in the day. The flat would be ideal for a family with two children, for 3 adults the sizes of the bedrooms were a bit imbalanced, the second bedroom being quite tiny, but no way did it spoil our week in Nice. We are already thinking of the next visit.

My husband and I stayed here in the middle of September and throughly enjoyed the apartment, Nice and surrounding area. The apartment is so well located, just steps from the pedestrian zone, the Promenade and an easy walk to the cours Saleya and bus station. The apartment was comfortable, bright, well equiped and everything functioned properly…lots of hot water and good water pressure…the things you don’t think about until you don’t have them. The rental process was efficient and the arrival instructions, key pickup and directions were comprehensive and helpful. Thanks to Paul for his quick response to all my questions. We would definitely love to stay here again and hope to next year.

The location of the apartment is excellent, a few minutes walk to the promenade and just around the corner are plenty of lovely restaurants. Its a 10 minute walk to the Old Town of Nice and 15 min to the train station. The apartment was lovely and quite spacious for the four of us. I would highly recommend this apartment

My experience with Go-Nice and the apartment is very positive. The location of the apartment is very good, being just around the corner from the pedestrianised area and about 2 minutes walk to the promenade. The apartment itself is just as shown on the website pictures. It contains everything you could possibly need while on holidays down to train/bus timetables as well as a French-English dictionary! Also the collection and drop-off of the keys was made very simple. Therefore I have no problem in recommending a stay in this apartment

11 Rue Massenet is an excellent apartment. The location is super - just off the Promenade des Anglais, across the street from the beach, and the pedestrian walk on rue Massena is just on the other side. We found a couple of nice stores to buy things like croissants and fruit just around the corner. It’s also very handy for shopping (Blvd Jean Medecin is about a 10 minute walk) and old Nice is right there. There is no shortage of cafes and brasseries along the way for lunch or dinner.

The apartment itself is very comfortable - the large bedroom is very nice, 2nd bedroom is a bit small with 2 twin beds, but is still comfortable for sleeping. Plenty of room to hang clothes, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and having the washing machine is very handy. It was really nice to have the balcony also - great for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day at the beach.

If you’ve rented a car, parking is a bit of an issue, but we found that the local bus service is very reliable and inexpensive and based on the location of the apartment, I don’t think you really need a car.

For 2 of us, renting this apartment was so much more comfortable than being stuck in a hotel room for 7 days. I would certainly recommend 11 rue Massenet for a vacation rental.

LOVED the apartment … the location, the building, the balcony, the comfort! We were able to “spread out” in this lovely apartment and have plenty of ’space’ when our family of 4 needed it! The location of the apartment could not have been better, either … we loved the pedestiran zone and the close proximity to the beach. Nice was our favorite vacation ever … such a spectacularly beautiful area and such a casual atmosphere. There were many wonderful resteraunts within walking distance from the apartment … we hope to visit again very soon. Thanks Paul, for all your help in making it happen for us

Loved this apartment - great mix of period detail & modern convenience. Spotlessly clean & a very thoughful welcome pack provided by the owners. We enjoyed many leisurely breakfasts on the balcony & the fiendly cat (next door) was the icing on the cake!

Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need. Very central to town and beach. Only problem was the heat - air conditioning would be great in this apartment. It would make it even better. Would certaibnly reutn, perhaps in Juen when its not so hot. Can definitely recomment this to anyonw wishing to spend time in Nice.

A delightful apartment, just the kind of thing we wanted. More than lived up to expectations. Ideal location, quiet and convenient with wonderful provision for all our requirements. Hope to come again.

  17. Stan Dur says:

Rue Massenet is in superb location; close to action on the pedestrian street and yet facing an inner quiet side street. We were there the last week of July and first week of August. Day time temperatures soar, but the cross ventilation in apart. made it very tolerable and evenings were delightful, especially dining on terrace. Washing machine broke down early in stay. Paul and his repairman, Jack, gave it full attention. When it could not readily be fixed, Paul communicated with owner, and it was quickly replaced.

  18. Sue, Adrian and Jane says:

Great apartment with everything in it that you’d need, even down to food mixer, lilos, shopping trolley, flat screen TV and CD player! Wonderful location near to the beach, very spacious - loved the two balconies. Would love to come back again. Only thing that could improve it would be air conditioning.

Nice has lovely shopping centre with everything in it you could imagine, and the old town was amazing, great atmosphere and ambiance.
