We’ve been in this flat during 10 days. We liked it very much because it’sreally comfortable placed in the heart of Nice. There are a lot of shops and nice squares in daytime and many good restaurants and cafes at night time.
The sea is in 5 minutes from the flat and also Promenade des’anglais. It’s so beautiful.

In the flat we were glad to find out all necessary we needed. We felt ourselves like we were at home.

Thank you very much for comfort and wonderful vacations!!

We have just had 8 wonderful nights in Nice, made more special by being able to stay in this beautiful apartment. It was light and airy, unlike some in the old town that we have stayed at previously. There is everything you will need for your stay in Nice in the apartment. The proximity is also absolutely fab, everything right on your doorstep.
The beach, the market, loads of great places to eat and drink and the Gare Routiere for those day trips, a gentle 10 minute stroll away. If you are going to Nice for the first time or are returning like my husband and I will be, I can highly recommend this apartment. Just don’t book it when we are going or I will be very cross.
Thank you Go Nice, from the moment we booked to the moment we departed all our need were taken care of.

We have just stayed at this lovely apartment for a week. It’s position, as previously mentioned, is perfectly positioned for the old town, restuarants, beach and the local transport. The apartment itself is very well equipped and furnished to a very good standard.
I had probably better stop now or it will not be available when we want to go back!!
    Thank you Go Nice.

We stayed at Rue Gaetan during high season in July with 2 older children 10 & 15 . we all loved the location as it is very near the beach and in the center of Old town. There were different markets every day in the square just a block away .The accomodations were very nice with excellent english typewritten explanations on how to do just about anything in the apartment ( work the washing machine etc…)and where to go outside of it . The laundromat is a few blocks away as well. We washed clothes in the apartment and then items we needed to dry quickly, we just took to the laundromat and they had large dryers available .The shower is excellent !!!!
I would highly recommend using this flat.

Go-Nice, Rue St Gaetan apartment, Nice

The apartment is perfectly placed right in the heart of the old town. Being on the first floor there are not too many steps to climb. Nice is a vibrant city and you walk out of your front door right into it. With it being surrounded by the hussle and bussle of the busy tourist centre one might think there would be noise, but have no fear the double glazed windows are incredibly effective and the noise is completely blocked out when closed. In fact, the bedroom is set back into the building so there is no noise from the street at all. You choose whether to have the shutters shut for absolute privacy or open and watch the world go by on their day to day business (there’s an ever changing market area within close view from the left window which is fascinating to glance at from time to time).

A big priority is always the bed; the mattress we think is “memory foam” and really comfortable and not disturbing for your partner if you move around a bit. With one of us being quite tall, we were concerned about the bed not being long enough because we saw the wood fitting at the end of the bed in the photos, but there’s no problem it’s a big bed and there’s just about a big enough gap below the wood fitting.

The air conditioning works like a dream, when returning back from the heat of the afternoon sun it feels like heaven. The other mod cons in the apartment really make a difference too. It’s great to be able to briefly see from time to time what’s going on in the world on cable TV (in many languages including English). The free wifi (internet connection) in the apartment is also absolutely brilliant if you want to quickly keep in touch with everyone it’s there and instantly ready to use (with you own laptop). We love to take a box set of an old TV series with us, so of an evening we can watch an episode if we feel like it (get’s quite addictive). The DVD player and the big flatscreen TV made the experience all the more enjoyable for us.

If we had to find a slight criticism we’d say there is a little bit of noise from the apartment above (walking and chairs on tiled floor) and the one opposite (door opening and locking), it’s reasonably quiet at sleeping time between say 10 pm to 8 am. We only really began to notice it when we experimented with going to bed really late at say 1.30 am and trying to sleep in to 10 am, if you stick to normal hours you’ll have absolutely no problem. We were sensitive about noise and one has to put this into perspective, this is normal for apartments in shared buildings (not to mention most hotels are much noisier) and we could write a list as long as your arm of things that are fantastic about the apartment and that makes this one small criticism pale into insignificance.

The Go-Nice team were very efficient and helpful. The key collection and drop-off system was efficient and simple. Paul replied to a couple of questions we had on our first day of arrival, instantly.

We have used many apartments for our holidays all over Europe for over 15 years and we’ve had experiences right across the spectrum. We’ve had some real stinkers and some fabulous ones. We can absolutely honestly say this apartment ranks right up there with our very favourites. One has to also factor in the cost, this apartment is great value for money.

Go-Nice, Rue St Gaetan apartment, Nice (August 2009)

Absolutely fantastic stay in Nice and this apartment is amazing. Exceeded my expectations. Key collection was very easily explained and had no problems. Directions given to apt were perfect. Such an amazing location - the welcome hamper was such a lovely treat. No problems whatsoever and had a relaxed stay in Nice. Recommended this apt to all - the pictures dont do it justice. Airconditioning is a blessing and with the double glazing I slept like a baby. Perfect for beach, daytrips or shopping. Everything you need.

    Thanks a million to Paul

We have now returned home from our stay in Nice at 10 Rue St Gaetan. Already we are missing your fine city!

Everything went well and we really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was in the center of everything and we did not have to travel very far for entertainment whether it was during the day or at night.

Thank you for your assistance in making our stay memorable.

We spent a very nice 4 nights in this apartment. Great location for exploring Old town and very close to the bus station which is a good way to get to Moneco or Canes for 1 euro and the train station is a 20 minute walk or a short tram ride.
The apartment has all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay and was clean and well maintained. Not much of a view and only 1 floor up from the street which can be a little noisy but those are the trade offs to be right in the heart of the old town action.
Would recommend it to friends or stay here again.
